Music Movies- SERGE GAINSBOURG: (2010)

25 July 2023

That French singer/songwriter/actor SERGE GAINSBOURG was a controversial artist is the least you can say. He always said in a blunt way what was on his turbulent mind. He was a busy ladies man, even flirted openly with Whitney Houston on a TV Show (he actually said he wanted to fuck her) and wrote very explicit songs (many for other artists) like the 1969 world hit Je T’Aime Moi Non Plus sung with his then-wife Jane Birkin, who passed away
only 2 weeks ago, aged 76. He was also notorious for smoking 5 packs a day.

He passed away in 1991 following a heart attack, aged 62.

A docu-film titled GAINSBOURG (Vie Héroïque)  was
released in 2010. A fitting tribute to a unique artist.
