GARBAGE Shares New Song ‘DESTROYING ANGELS’ Written With Legendary L.A. Band X…

GARBAGE just shared, digitally, a song called DESTROYING ANGELS co-written with
Exene Cervenka and John Doe of legendary Los Angeles band X and was released first exclusively on 3000 vinyl copies for ‘Record Store Day: Black Friday‘ last November. It’s
a heartrending song described by Garbage as a murder ballad. The new single’s B-side
is a glowing and gracious cover of David Bowie’s ‘Starman’, taken from a Garbage radio broadcast early last year. Listen to both alluring little pearls right here…

2018 Godlike NME genius SHIRLEY MANSON said at the time that BELOVED FREAK
was actually about the band, about GARBAGE… “In a funny way, I think that’s a song to ourselves. As a band, we’ve always felt a little misunderstood, and we realize, even with this
new record, it’s sort of the same situation. We’re just oddballs, and we always will be. At this point in our lives, rather than feel like victims of being left out, we’re like, ‘F–k it!’ We’re renegades. We’re doing things on our own terms, and that’s fine.”
