Now Playing – The Final BEATLES Album ‘LET IT BE’ That Topped The UK Charts Tis Day In 1970

Like for millions of people on this planet, THE BEATLES are also for me, the best band ever. Their virtuoso talent and innovatory skills made them turn pop music into something that elevated pop-ular music to an ingenious, very accessible form of entertaining art all over the world.

Their final LP LET IT BE was/still is, underrated. You read more about the difficult recording sessions and the animosity among the Fab Four than about the series of pearls such as: Across The Universe, Get Back, Long And Winding Road, I’ve Got A Feeling and For Blue. It’s quite simple: it’s one of their best albums in my Beatles book.

53 years ago today – 23 May in 1970 – the longplayer
started a 3-week run on top of the UK Charts.

21 December 2020

A new Fab Four documentary titled GET BACK, directed
by The Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson was planned
to premier this summer, but is now moved to the summer of
2021, due to the awful pandemic.

But today a preview clip went online introduced by Jackson
with snippets of rare Beatles footage… in the studio.

Pretty cool, folks…
