GLASS PEAKS Moves With New Melancholic Single ‘LONDON IS CONCRETE’

Sonic reveries for the laziest day of the week

26 April 2020

Up and coming London trio GLASS PEAKS, sonically likened to the likes of Foals, White
Lies
, and Depeche Mode have been earning their stripes on the live circuit over the last two years with no less than three sold-out London headline shows. They just released a brand new single from their upcoming debut EP called ‘It’s Raining On The Wrong Side of The Window’, out on 1st May 2020.

Singer Alfie Jefferies said about LONDON IS CONCRETE: “The lyrics are about yearning for that familiar feeling of home when you’re far away. It’s about missing people and places, and how they make you feel. London has always been home for me and it’s the place I feel most comfortable, so this tune serves as a bit of a love letter to home”

London Is Concrete has a relaxing, soothing, and melancholic resonance most of us
can relate to in this isolation days. I guess many people never ever have been so long
at home and due to the safety measures have to miss beloved family members and friends for weeks now. Right now right here, this romantic humdinger makes me long
for a much-needed real reunion with loved ones and I’m sure I’m not the only one with these hankering feelings.

Let your thoughts drift away right here…
