Memes’ Paul or John…

Early last month Turn Up The Volume! stumbled into a fresh Scottish band. A jangly post punk The Fall-like noise duo featuring Paul and John (with those names world domination will be a piece of cake) calling themselves MEMES. The cutting tandem had just released their two smashing debut tracks ‘Blah Blah Blah‘ and ‘Funny Man‘ and now the pair is back with a new biting thwack on which they sound actually a bit like Mike Skinner‘s The Streets after he picked up a bass, hired a drum machine and went totally parlando punk.
