80s Brit-glam stars DURAN DURAN have no intention to retire.
Five years after Paper Gods they have a new longplayer in the
pipeline. FUTURE PAST arrives on 22 October. They invited
several guests to join them for the new record.

For the new single INVISIBLE they called Blur‘s guitarist Graham Coxon
to pass by. If I didn’t read the press statement I wouldn’t have a clue Coxon
was somewhere on it.

Same old band, same old vibe, same old songs…

TURN UP THE VOLUME!: The best rock album Blur never made.
Without Coxon, they would have become an arty-farty project
rather than Britpop icons they became.

Blur‘s guitarist GRAHAM COXON (also author of eight solo albums) contributed an acoustic song to the soundtrack of Netflix series The End Of The F***ing World last
year and he wrote two new tracks for the second season. One is called ‘SHE KNOWS’.
A tender and intimate lullaby with an electrical twist. Check it out right here…

Album: A+E / his 8th solo longplayer
Released: 2 April 2012 / only one week in the UK charts, at #37
Sound: The repetitive combination of snappy guitar riffage, addictive beatbox rhythms, Krautrock dynamics and Coxon‘s nervy and at times confused vocals turned this record into a splendid LP overlooked by the mass, but vitalizing fuel for alt rock addicts like me
