Indonesian GRRL GANG Rock Out On New Single ‘LAPTOP

Vitalizing tunes that work faster than a stream of caffeine

3 February 2026

Band: GRRRL GANG
Who: Three Indonesian
guitar-pop indies.

Track: LAPDOG
Piece/clip from their new 3-track
maxi-single, named Online 24/7.

Edo (guitarist) “This song is about the choices we make every
day, when we click ‘agree’ to something that actually hurts us.”

TUTV: Lapdog tackles, just like the other two guitar-electryfing songs,
the signs of our times, and those do not look good, as we all now.

The fervent firecracker grooves with verve and vigor. Vocalist Angee‘s spoken
word performance is loud and crystal clear, so is the vibrant chorus. We need
to stop messing up.

Wake up, people.
Indonesia is here
to rock.

GRRRL GANG – Indonesian Punk-Pop Trio Speed On New Steamy Single ‘BETTER THAN LIFE’

Daily electricity to load your batteries

2 September 2023

Band: GRRRL GANG
Who: Pithy-punky-poppy trio
from Indonesia

New single: BETTER THAN LIFE
Already the 4th single off GG’s upcoming debut LP, titled
Spunky!, out 23 September via Green Music Island.

Album artwork

Angeeta Sentana (vocalist/songwriter): “Being diagnosed with any mental disorder is
not a nice thing to have. I’m still in the process of accepting it as a ‘normal’ part of my life,
but there are times when I would feel super down about it.”

TUTV: Mental health problems are a crushing drag (I know, I had them myself for years). This new stormer sounds as if Grrl Gang‘s Sentana want to shake them off. Better Than Life speeds for 90 seconds with all engines on. Its razzle-dazzle tempo makes your head spin uncontrollably while angry guitars and scary screams in the back can destroy evil demons. Stroke!

GRRRL GANG – Swirling Indonesian Trio GRRRL GANG Share Video For Their Brisk Single ‘BLUE-STAINED LIPS’

New striking strokes

Band: GRRL GANG

Who: Punky Pop trio
from Indonesia.

New single/video: BLUE-STAINED LIPS.
The third shared track from their upcoming debut LP,
titled Spunky!, out 23 September via Green Music Island.

Album artwork

Angeeta Sentana (vocalist/songwriter): “We were at a party one night, and I drank this
blue cocktail, and it left a stain on my lips, making them blue. I thought I looked super ugly,
but my boyfriend still thought I was perfect and kissed me, regardless. The line ‘Kiss me on
my blue-stained lips’ is a metaphor for him liking me and accepting me for who I am.”

TUTV: This is flashy steamed-up pop exaltation. Blue-Stained Lips dashes with an irresistible fuzz and youthful buzz, while firework guitars fly all over the place and
the frolicsome vocal harmonies color the track with bravado like teen sensation
The Linda Lindas do. Add this to you summer party playlist. It’s kiss-tastic.
It’s s-punky stuff.

The new lyric video was directed by Carkultera Wage Sae and
Yohanes Catur Nugroho as a sequel to Grrrl Gang‘s other music
clips.
