Original frontman Dan McCafferty left the band in 2013 due
to health problems. He passed away 2 days ago, on 8 November.
R.I.P.

The Scots scored big time with their 1975 LP HAIR OF THE DOG,
the one with their memorable cover of Love Hurts (more than
150 million streams on Spotify). The song was written in 1960
by country-soul singer-songwriter Boudleaux Bryant.

But the album’s title track was a hit single too (covered
by Guns ‘n Roses iN 1993). Do you know the banger?
