Have A Hard-Ska-Core Fest With HANS GRUBER AND THE DIE HARDS

6 May 2022

Band: HANS GRUBER AND THE DIE HARDS

Who: Mental trio from Texas, mixing punk/ska genres together like a toddler eating chocolate cake – with messy intensity for maximum enjoyment. From Boston hardcore to Colombian cumbia, southern gospel to crossover thrash, their live shows are filled with pits, sock puppets, conga lines and confusion – if you are nihilistic enough to jump in feet first.

New album: WITH A VENGEANCE
Released: 29 April via Ska Punk International.

SPI (label): It’s a ride from start to finish. It’s heavy and politically charged
but also sarcastically funny in the way that only Hans Gruber and the Die
Hards can be. This album has a little of everything too from cumbia to ska
to hardcore.

Turn Up The Volume says: Beware, this trio only looks nice, like happy hippies.
Trust me, they only want to mess up your poor head. Once they have entered
their smelly basement and picked up their instruments it’s very loud and very
clear that it’s Vengeance Showtime, ladies and gents.

Expect a nasty hard-ska-core jumble up of neurotic slams and freaked-out dunks
storming with the speed of a death metal jet while crazed spits and sneers fly all
over the place.

Open your windows and doors and start a clamourous heads-over-heels fest in
the streets while shouting and screaming ‘Fuck Putin’. I dare you to hop up and
down, left and right, back and forth like a kangaroo on dope, from hammer 1 to
hammer 16. Advice: have an oxygen bottle close by. Holy Moses, this is fun!
