Who: 6-piece synthwave/electronic-rock team hailing from Regina, Canada. They draw inspiration from a diverse array of influences, including Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, Devo, Tool, and many others

They released their debut album Prophylaxis in 2019.

Track: HEAVEN’S GATE
A provocative alt-pop anthem that skewers blind belief and modern
delusion, this song challenges listeners to follow evidence over fear.

TUTV: A booming bass beat that grooves and moves all the way through propels
this spicy stomper with brio and gusto. An irresistible feet-tapping buzzer that peaks
when the ablaze chorus comes on strong. Striking stroke.

Who: Power-pop singer-songwriter
Amelia Rahayu Murray from New Zealand.

Track: MOTORWAY

About: “A feeling of being trapped between a city and a relationship, searching for home in both, but finding it in neither. It explores an enmeshment with familiarity; and the motorway becoming a symbol of that for me; repetitive, a loop to break out of, a false sense of freedom.”

TUTV: Fazerdaze‘s unswerving drive on the motorway works like a mind-bending
magnet. Sultry synths, distorted guitars and sensuous vocals cause an overpowering
thrill. Intoxicating psych pop for the twilight hours.

Who: The solo project of British guitarist Sally-Anne Hickman
who has played as a session and live guitarist with many bands
over the years.

Track: RIGHT NOW

Press info: With shades of the sparkling indie-pop of bands such
as Best Coast as well a clear inspiration from the British DIY scene.

TUTV: Right Now is a riff-repetitive pop ripper. Energizing, stimulating and
rollin’ fast-forward. Hickman‘s vivid vocals add extra vibrancy to the racy vibe.

TUTV: I played this sparkling ballad a few times on repeat. Every single

Perfect Match In Noise Hell – METZ Teamed Up With JOE TALBOT (Idles) For New Riff-Roaring Ripper ‘COME ON DOWN’

Next month, Toronto noise generator METZ start a tour (dates below)
to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their smashing self-titled debut LP
(released 9 October 2012).

Their merciless all motors hurly-burly with inexhaustive frontman
Alex Edkins at the wheels made me and my ears an instant fan.

Along the tour announcement, the trio shared two tracks, of which one is
pretty special. COME ON DOWN features their longtime friend Joe Talbot.

Alex Edkins (frontman) about working with Idles’ sharp-teethed voice Joe Talbot:
“‘Come On Down’ was originally recorded during the Atlas Vending sessions but never fully finished. During the pandemic I really gravitated towards the idea of collaboration as a way
to fill the void left by the loss of live music. I reached out to friends from far and wide in
order to get that feeling of community that gigs provide. Joe Talbot is a longtime friend who METZ has shared the stage with many, many times, and this song was a very natural and
fun way to catch up with him and do something positive with our time off the road.

Joe Talbot: “METZ have been a band we’ve looked up to since they came into our lives
and made things better. I will never forget the first time I saw them or any of the other
times. Allowing me to sing with them is a gift and I hope you like it. I love it and I love
them. Long live METZ.”

Talbot has, like Edkins four lungs and you know that his band Idles
also produces hair-raising hullabaloo. Perfect match in noise hell.
