Heated Engine HOT SNAKES Unleash Their New Explosive Corker ‘I SHALL BE FREE’…

New sonic impulses

12 February 2020

HOT SNAKES formed in 1999 in San Diego by John Reis (former charismatic frontman, known as Speedo, from awesome rockers Rocket From The Crypt) and John Reis ‘who played in several San Diego related bands) disbanded in 2005 and came back fiercer
than before in 2011. They’re gearing up for their fifth album.

After launching smoking lead singleĀ Checkmate last December the steamy rock engine just unleashed a second cut ‘I SHALL BE FREE’. After a short cinematic intro, the heated corker explodes immediately with John Reis screaming his lungs out, as usual, as if this
the last song he’ll ever sing. This boiling cracker pounds from start to finish, with a cool ‘Once Upon A Time West’ harmonica somewhere in the middle. Overall a frenzied wallop!
