LORDS OF ACID – Belgian Electro-Trash Turbo Finally Back With 24-Hour Party Stompers On Their New Album ‘MUNDO BIZZARO’
26 October 2026
Electro trash & clash turbo LORDS OF ACID was formed in Antwerp, Belgium in 1988 by Maurice Engelen, artistically known as Praga Khan. Their first longplayer appeared in 1991.
With different lineups over the years, the Lords became one of the most influential acts
to emerge from the hard-edged electronic dance music scene of that era. Adopting and adapting underground club culture aesthetics from the off, they blended techno, acid house and industrial music with provocative lyrics on themes of sexuality, drug use and hedonism.
Carla Harvey, formerly co-vocalist of American metal troublemakers
Butcher Babies, is the new acid voice/face. She joined in January 2025.
New Album: MUNDO BIZARO
Their 1st in 8 years and 7th overall.
It’s now out digitally.
CD/LP follow on 9th Nov.
Nooo, don’t shoot
TUTV: Nothing new under the sun. Don’t expect Lords Of Acid to reinvent the techno
wheel that made them notorious when they came to party hard, back in the 90s. They
still deliver their familiar, e-cstatic energy, freaky-disco anthems, and loads of bizarre dancefloor stompers. All served with explicit and witty flavor.
Harvey‘s dominating voice is a perfect match, adding extra pizzazz to the manic electro trash mix. Ravers, clubgoers, and other night owls will be thrilled with all this new 24-hour
acid party extravaganza. Raise the roof, dance freaks.
