Trailblazing guitar virtuoso Johnny Allen Hendrix, known by generations of
rock fans as JIMI HENDRIX would have celebrated his 81st birthday today.
He was born on 27 November 1942 in Seattle, Washington, US.

His unique, inflammable style of playing guitar astonished the rock world
back in the mid-60s. He recorded/released 3 albums with his Experience band.

Electric Ladyland (1968).

Hendrix‘s fame caused a 24/7 party life which ended way too soon on 18 September
1970, he was only 27. He aspirated his own vomit and died of abnormal breathing
while intoxicated with barbiturates. R.I.P.
