Last Friday, the ultimate Caesar of Punk IGGY POP unleashed
his 19th solo LP, named EVERY LOSER. A hold/cold affair for
Turn Up The Volume‘s ears (review here).
To give his new record a kick up the ass Pop does some promo.
Yesterday, he set the Jimmy Kimmel Live show on fire with the most
FRENZY-ied track on the longplayer.
Jimmy Kimmel announced his musical guests as Iggy Pop and The Losers.
Famous losers that is: Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan, Red Hot Chili Peppers
drummer Chad Smith, former RHCP’s guitarist Josh Klinghoffer and Andrew Watt.
At 75 the Stoogefather is still full of frenzy.
The audience agreed and went bonkers.

Canadian indie folk singer/songwriter Tamara Lindeman and her project/band
THE WEATHER STATION released their critically acclaimed, fifth album Ignorance

Yesterday they played before the cameras of the Jimmy Kimmel Live show performing
an enthralling version of TRIED TO TELL YOU, a single from the album.

NIRVANA Fronted By Charismatic Teen Spirit VIOLET GROHL On American TV
Nirvana comeback? Well if two of the original members – Dave Grohl
and Krist Novoselic – get together to play again, it’s a 2/3 reunion, right?
What happened? Dave and his utterly charismatic daughter Violet,
on vocals, shared their droning cover of Nausea, a 1980 cracker by L.A.
punk legends X, a week ago.
Then they got invited by the Jimmy Kimmel Live Show to play that steamy stunner.
So Dave asked old Nirvana pal Krist Novoselic to join him, along with an occasional
Foo Fighters collaborator, former Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo and producer
Greg Kurstin on organ. But the sparkling star of the night was Violet Grohl.
Only 15 years old with a nevermind rock-out teen spirit.

After releasing their long-awaited new, fourth album ‘The Slow Rush’ pop dream sensation TAME IMPALA, led by singer/songwriter KEVIN PARKER, are ready for
a Northern America tour. To promote their live stint the band played on TV show
Jimmy Kimmel Live yesterday evening. They played two songs from the fresh LP.
The vibey ‘Lost In Yesterday’ and a nearly six-minute rendition of the starry-eyed
