JUKEBOX 2026 – WEEK 11 – Five New Rad Tracks Added Twice A Week

Hello, music junkies.

Another batch of 5 new, top-notch tracks have
been added to Turn Up The Volume’s Jukebox.

Have fun.

ALL TOGETHER

TRACK BY TRACK

Artist: PIG
Who: The moniker of British
dark-Goth-wave crusader
Raymond Watts

Track: TOSCA’S KISS Lead single of his upcoming LP,
named Hurt People Heart, which will drop on May 22nd.

TUTV: PIG hammers fiercely again. Herculean bass-synth smacks control this
mid-tempo, industrial-spiced tomahawk. A brain-breaking blaster for nasty
nightmares.

By Ay Eye

Act: BRIAN AND THE ONIONS
Who: A project of no fixed members, but emerging
as a duo to release this reactive stonker.

Track: SMALL BOATS

TUTV: Brian and The Onions don’t waste time. They produce a ton of decibels from the get-go. They move and groove with sturdy doggedness, mulled with in-your-face vocals. And you can scream-along to the chanty chorus. Rock ‘n’ rap-punk roll rules. Think Sleaford Mods with their amps way up.

Band: THE ACTIONS
Who: duo from Bristol, UK.

Track: TAKE MORE
Their first release since their
2021 debut album Flourish.

“Take More is a song about growing up in the suburbs. It captures nights spent twisting your mind over the future, caught between staying with the people you love and the need to escape, struggling to find anything that breaks the loop.”

TUTV: Imagine Hole fronted by Joan Jett. Bitchy, right? You betcha. This is a knife-edged stormer, vitalized by buzzing guitars and non-stop pushing drum beats, while the male action of the duo jumps in for some vocal assistance. Wanna have fun partying downtown? Take more and hit the floor.

Artist: MY LO-FI HEART
Who: The project of electro-pop songwriter
Ian Turley from Sheffield, UK.

Track: WE CAN’T FALL

“It’s a song about the ecstasy of being in love, the feeling that floating on air, of being so close that you can feel the pulse of your heart when looking into the eyes of your special person. The sensation of spinning and spiralling higher with a rush of feelings which won’t ever stop, you won’t come down.”

Music is less about perfection and more about atmosphere: letting the imperfections,
haze, and repetitions create a space where you drift with your emotions.”

TUTV
: Pop techno for crowded dancefloors in sweaty nightclubs. If your body doesn’t vibrate when We Can’t Fall enters your eager ears, you need to consult your shrink or change your medication. Anyway, invite your lover for a wild night out in the city and
let the adrenaline take over.

Band: MEET THE FAWKERS
Who: Blues rockers from
Galway, Ireland.

Track: TOO MEAN TO DIE

“Too Mean To Die’ leans into the great country/blues tradition of storytelling,
as we are let into a conversation reflecting on poor choices and our protagonist’s frustration with their station in life and despite this their choice to keep showing
up and working on.”

TUTV: Wowzers. Musing Americana blues rock the Irish way, delivered with hearty
passion. Weeping guitars back the star in the middle, the vocalist’s voice. He energises
this mid-tempo torch cracker with his stupendous pipes.

Too Mean To Die shows that the burning genre is far from being passé. When
performed like here, your heart and soul get touched and moved. Excellent effort.

JUKEBOX 2026 – WEEK 10 – Five New Rad Tracks Added Twice A Week

Hello, music junkies.

Another 5 new, stellar tracks have been
added to Turn Up The Volume’s Jukebox.

All for your aural pleasure.

ALL TOGETHER

TRACK BY TRACK

Band: TWISTED TEENS
Who: 2 garage punk dropouts
from New Orleans.

Track: CIRCUS CLOWN
Cut from their new, 2nd LP,
called Blame The Clown

Track: CIRCUS CLOWN

TUTV: These New Orleans motherrockers move ‘n groove with tenacious
vigor. They don’t fool around, they entertain your ears and body with
confident swagger. They ramble and they rattle. They rule.

Enter the circus here.

Artist: ROB ZOMBIE
Who: The notorious and bombastic metal rock shocker, born
Robert Bartleh Cummings, has been destroying stereos since 1985.

Track: BLACK RAT COFFIN
Nasty slice from his brand
new LP The Great Satan.

TUTV: After all his crazy years, Zombie still comes up
with industrial-rock dynamized headbangers like this
dirty drone-drone-drone rat-race.

Helter-skelter!

Band: DOPAMINE FIX
Who: Fresh-Irish indie duo who’s manifesto says a lot about them:
“With a nod to the Dadaists, we create Post Punk, Experimental and
Electronica which aims to unnerve, to disturb and to question.”

Track: REAL

“This piece speaks from inside the aftermath: after the damage, after the noise,
when certainty has begun to fail. In a world shaped by artificial intelligence, disinformation and continuous media manipulation, perception is no longer shared. Reality becomes something assigned rather than lived.”

TUTV: Dopamine Fix offer a voltaic, jump-up-and-down earworm
that bangs and booms from start to finish, like disco legends Erasure
with a punky vibe. Trust me, they’re for real, and they produce real
sonic stimulants.

Play that funky music, here and now.

Photo: Cat Meade

Band: CAPE CRUSH
Who: Power-emo rockers
from Boston, MA.

Track: PLACE MEMORY
New piece from their new,
forthcoming album.

Ali Limpkin (vocalist and guitarist): “The term ‘Place Memory’ is the supernatural theory that a place can hold an energetic memory, like when you hear ghostly footsteps or a disembodied voice, that perhaps you’re not hearing something intelligent, you’re hearing a repeat of that memory played back to you as if on tape. Or maybe you’re hearing your sister on the other side of the veil? The song talks about the choice we don’t make becoming a sister ship bound for a different route. One that we can only wave at from the shoreline.”

Design credit: Katie Scarlett @katie.scarlett

TUTV: Who said indie guitar pop is dead? Go away. On second thoughts stay
and try to not lose yourself in this 6-string whirlwind steaming all over you.
You will fail.

Cape Crush rush and race rivetingly with no intention to slow down
on their swift run. One word. Electromagnetic. I told you, doubters.
Listen and get my drift.

Applause! Applause!

Band: TELENOVA
Who: Dreamy guitar pop
trio from Malbourne, AU.

Track: EMPIRE
Piece from their brand new
full-length The Warning.

TUTV: Here’s a feather-light pop tune for a sunny spring,
colored with sparkly guitar riffs, sweet mixed emotions
vocals and a head-nodding beat.

Bubbly. Bouncy. Breezy.
