From the legendary city of Liverpool, UK here’s OYA PAYA. An intriguing trio describing themselves as “three smelly twenty-somethings hailing from different corners of the globe. We came together to put our own spin on homemade, alternative-indie-rock. We started our journey in early 2016 in Liverpool. We create tunes by an accidental collision of signal transmissions in outer space from within the comfort of our cozy little bedrooms.” I guess, ladies and gents, that it’s quite clear that we’re dealing with some fascinating eccentrics producing sticky, passionate vibes with a bluesy twist intensified by tormented vocals and melancholic arrangements.
