Daily noise that works faster than any stimulant

Can’t wait to see THE WAEVE – featuring Graham Coxon (Blur’s guitarist)
and songstress Rose Elinor Dougall tonight at Lokerse Feesten Festival
in Belgium.

Last February, the intriguing tandem released one of the best longplayers
of the year with their engrossing Self-Titled Debut LP. A multi-layered, versatile
work with different sonic textures for different moods and matching vocal performances by both. Coxon‘s bedazzling saxophone play is everywhere. It creates a jazzy and moony atmosphere and at times a romantic and melancholic feel. As the cliché says, “it’s a grower” that slowly but surely gets under your skin.

My absolute fav track is KILL ME AGAIN. It was the LP’s first single, released
last November. A riveting, promptly infectious groove propelled by a pounding
synth/bass riff, spiced with Coxon‘s sax and riveting duet vocals
