“It’s is about the peaks and troughs we face in our lives. Written 12 years ago
when singer Marc James was working building stages for festivals and events,
he would dream about one day being the person to perform on them. He confides,
“It was grueling work and we were barely making it, sliding into debt. It felt like my
dreams were slipping away. Things were tough for me and my family and I wanted
to write a song that lifted me up above the circumstances.”

TUTV: This heavy Herculian turbo are on a manic mission with this jagged juggernaut. Their walloping wall-of-deranged-guitar sound strikes your stereo with crushing vigor. Two years ago, Oklahoma City‘s rowdy pandemonium rockers CHAT PILE
released a hot-boiling split 7″ with Texan scream team Portrail Of Guilt.

Last year they unleashed their bloody blasting debut LP God’s Country.

And now they return to what they did before. Splitting stuff with another band.
This time it’s muscled Kansas City’s gang NERVER who are the lucky ones. Both
groups have each 2 jackhammering songs on an EP titled BROTHERS IN CRIST.

Welch: “As an artist, I never actually thought about my gender that much.
I just got on with it. I was as good as the men and I just went out there and
matched them every time. But now, thinking about being a woman in my
30s and the future… I suddenly feel this tearing of my identity and my desires.

That to be a performer, but also to want a family might not be as simple for me
as it is for my male counterparts. I had modeled myself almost exclusively on male
performers, and for the first time I felt a wall come down between me and my idols
as I have to make decisions they did not.”

King is a towering accomplishment. An epic gem
with Florence‘s vocal tenseness going sky-high.
