Wake Up With LCD SOUNDSYSTEM In The Supermarket

Works faster than and harder than caffeine

2 January 2023

Last November we got the first new music in 5 years from
James Murphy and his musical vehicle LCD SOUNDSYSTEM.

As part of the soundtrack of the movie White Noise based on
the 1985 novel by American author Don DeLillo, Murphy shared his
contribution, named. NEW BODY RHUMBA. A familiar, hypnotic
and speed-up steamer, propelled by a steady bass riff, guitars
popping up now and then and Murphy singing as nervously as
always

The movie started streaming last week on Netflix. And you also can
watch the dance scene in the supermarket with LCD Soundystem
all over it. Utterly cool!

Works faster than caffeine

30 September 2022

Finally back on track. James Murphy and his musical vehicle LCD SOUNDSYTEM
is part of the soundtrack of the movie White Noise based on the 1985 novel by
American author Don DeLillo.

LCD Soundsytem still sounds like LC Soundsystem. New piece NEW BODY RHUMBA
has that familiar hypnotic and groovy speed-up rhythm propelled by a steady bass riff, guitars popping up now and then and Murphy singing with his characteristic, nervous voice. Just what you need to make your day.

Catch the catchy vibes.

LCD SOUNDSYSTEM – Magnetizing ‘CALL THE POLICE’ Performance On British TV…

Towering live performances…

Band: LCD SOUNDSYSTEM – James Murphy‘s band
Track: CALL THE POLICE
Where: BBC’s ‘Later With… Jools Holland‘ live show
When: 26 September 2017
Score: Murphy‘s comeback after 5 years with his ‘American Dream‘ album isn’t a cash-in affair, absolutely not. His 4th longplayer is his best ever! And ‘Call The Police‘ is one of my favourite 5-stars tracks. A magnetizing corker that will twist your head 360. Bingo…
