I can’t remember when an artist was that plain-spoken, that self-examining, that straightforward and confrontational as Belgian singer/songwriter LINDE, a peculiar
elf whose insight into human relationships, and the songs she writes about them, are
as intense as they are unbearable. Her spellbinding vocal performance – think Kate Bush, Björk and Regina Spektor all in one – is vulnerable and tender, but also intimidating and viciously angry. She dissects her mixed emotions with brutal introspection, soul-searching mutilation, and spine-chilling mood swings. She wants to erase her traumatic love past with new sexual excesses, painful catharsis, and disconcerting revelations. At times it
feels like she wants you to be a confused voyeur for her own wicked pleasure.

Musically this record is stripped to the bone magic, both gripping and wayward, both mysterious and touching and the perfect sonic sonority for Linde‘s poignant quest.
The dramatic David Lynch like resonance and overall goosebumps arrangements are subdued and intimate.
