Score: After leaving a notable impression with her bewitching debut single Evaporate, up and coming artist LINDE shows again her nascent talent, vocally as well as lyrically. New single ‘Leave’ pictures the effect of love trauma. Its fragile, serene, yet catchy melody fits Linde‘s exquisite voice perfectly well while the song’s serene tone is intimate, open-faced and honest. It feels like silence in whispering motion.

” ‘Leave’ is not a request to bugger off”, she explains, “it’s not an insult you hurl at someone during a fight: the relationship I’m referring to never reached the fighting stage. In the end, letting someone go is probably the greatest act of love you can bestow”.
