Band: LOST FROM THE START
Who: An emo-rock/post-hardcore
team from Belgium.

New single: LOREM IPSUM (a placeholder text)
Their 3rd this year.

‘The song tries to capture the feeling of loneliness and emptiness that many
people experienced during that time.’ says the band, ‘It starts with a single
guitar that represents this feeling and builds up to a climax.’

Turn Up The Volume: With the tantalizing guitar intro I thought this was
a track by NYC’s heroes Interpol but as soon as Hilde Vranken‘s soul-stirring
vox comes up this slow-burning torch develops a monumental resonance
with echoes of the Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish.

Yes, pretty awe-inspiring, but too short. I’m sure
a 10-minute 12″ version would be enormous.

“The silence, it haunts me. Not really awake, not quite myself. I hope these feelings will fade.
Just like a blank page, I’m not much at all. Stare into nothing with no one to call”.
