Imagine it’s 1962. You’re in a sweaty small club, and a blueswoman takes
the stage and when the instantly foot-tapping guitar/organ intro kicks in you
think for a second that John Lee Hooker is in the house, but then through the
cigarette smoke you see/hear it’s a lady singing/playing the blues and she
goes boom, boom, boom. So goes your heart. Boom, boom, boom.

These are the images that popped up in my head when I heard NYC songstress
ANNIE KEATON and her new single LOVESICK BLUES. Sticky as first-class glue.
