KERRANG! New Edition With Cover Star TAYLOR MOMSEN Of Heavy NYC Rockers THE PRETTY RECKLESS

11 June 2026

THE PRETTY RECKLESS are an idolized 70s-inspired heavy rock band from
New York City, formed in 2009, fronted by the drop-dead gorgeous Taylor
Momsen
gifted with a skyscraping voice. She was just 16 when she joined
the group.

At the age of 3, she was already a kid actress and became a model in her teens.
And she still plays in movies and walks the catwalk in between inflaming TPR.

Momsen: “Music is where I can be me. Acting is easy. I’ve been doing it for so long
and I totally love it. But you’re playing a character instead of yourself. Music is more
personal because you’re writing it and you’re involved in every step of it.”

The band have pieced together their 5th album,
named DEAR GOD. It’ll hit the streets on June 26th.
Tracklist and order info here.

Kerrang magazine talked about it all with Momsen.

“Music can immortalise people. It’ll exist long after I’m dead,
after the people I love are gone, and that’s a really beautiful
thing.

Full interview here.

Musis, maestro, please.

Here’s the LP’s 4th single. It’s the title track.
A mid-tempo paced, searing outburst.
