French-Spanish Legend MANU CHAO Invited WILLIE NELSON For Chipper Tune ‘HEAVEN’s BAD DAY’
Daily noise that works faster than a stream of caffeine
1 October 2024
French-Spanish singer-songwriter-guitarist and political activist MANU CHAO skyrocketed to fame with his 1998 debut longplayer Clandestino. He also made successful waves with 2 other projects/bands, Manu Negra and Radio Bemba Sound System.
He now has his 6th solo LP out. It’s baptized VIVA TU. You can stream it below.
For one of the tracks, he invited 91-year-old country icon Willie Nelson. Together
they deliver feel-good chipper tune HEAVEN’S BAD DAY. Although the song isn’t
actually a happy one as Chao regrets that nobody, not even Satan visited his heavens today.
Nonetheless, wake up people,
put your hands in the air
and move your pelvis.
