JUKEBOX 2026 – WEEK 4 – Five New Rad Tracks Added Twice A Week

Probably the only playlist that matters

Another year, another Jukebox to fill with new
tracks, 5 twice a week, for your aural pleasure.

This is the 6th batch of 5 new rad ones of 2026.

ALL TOGETHER

TRACK BY TRACK

Band: MAVERIX
Who: Three noiseninks from Milan, Italy. They
released their debut album Cowpunk! in 2023.

Track: MAVERIX RADIO

Press info: With the track, MaveriX tune into a world of fake smiles, static scenes, and plastic poses—and answer with a raw, high‑voltage anthem built for sweat‑drenched nights and unfiltered rebellion.

TUTV: Sounds like if psychobilly Dick Dale is on guitar, like if this striking stroke
gets electrocuted when the sing-along chorus kicks in. Add a fiery finale and we
know we have a riff-roasting winner.

Blazing hot.

Band: DOLL SPIRIT VESSEL
Who: Guitar-motorized indies
from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Track: KISSING MY CUP New piece from their upcoming,
2nd full-length, titled Bow, and out on March 3rd.

TUTV: Psychotic guitars intertwin with singer Kati Malison‘s
pyretic vocals, balancing between guitar pop and unfiltered
post-punk.

Turbulent tune.

Artist: MARC VALENTINE
Who: Seasoned rocker from New York
with 2 albums on his résumé.

Track: NY UAP
New single taken from the forthcoming
album Uncommon Side Effects.

Valentine: “‘NY UAP’ is basically an allegory for life on the road. The inspiration for the song came while touring the US east coast, which happened to coincide with the infamous New Jersey UAP (unidentified aerial phenomena) sightings. I was wondering if they had an equivalent to rock’n’roll in their existence… and maybe they were on the ultimate inter-dimensional tour.”

TUTV: Don’t hesitate a second to jump on Valentine‘s new buzzy speed-train,
motorized by about 100 guitars generating about 100 riffs, or you’ll miss the
ride. Rawk ‘n’ roll in manic motion.

Good gracious.

Band: DEREK SMITH & THE COSMIC VULTURES
Who: Captivating pop/rock outfit from Boston with
5 LPs under their belt. Check them out on Spotify
right here

Track: HOLLOW CHOIR
This is Smith‘s 80th song
release over the past eight years.

Smith: “This song sums up the feelings I have had towards my music career for the last few years. I am always being told what I should do or what I should write. The voices have turned into an empty choir for me, or a ‘Hollow Choir’, if you will. The most important thing I have discovered is that I have to be me.”

TUTV: Smith drags you into his delirious universe. Hollow Chair has
a 60s psychedelic vibe, and Mark Knopfler’s guitar echoes add some
sparkling scintillation.

Feverish.

ARCTIC MONKEYS
Track: OPENING NIGHT

Their first new music since 2022 album The Car. Written and recorded for the upcoming Warchild benefit album ‘Help (2)’, featuring several other artists. It comes out on March 6th.

TUTV: Another smooth musing that easily could have been on that Car LP, with its tranquil groove and Turner‘s crooner vocals. Looks, again, as if the Monkeys are tired of rockin’ out.

MARC VALENTINE With Glam Pop Punk Bolide ‘SKELETON KEY’

Daily electricity to load your batteries

28 October 2023

Artist: MARC VALENTINE
Who: Flamboyant British singer-songwriter who
released his debut album Future Obscure last year.

New single: SKELETON KEY

The B-side is a cover version of The Shirelles’ No 1 US hit
Will You Love Me Tomorrow from 1960. Available as a download
and a limited-edition coloured vinyl 7” with picture sleeve. Buy here

Valentine: “When the idea for Skeleton Key came to me, I was imagining the colours and dialogue of a suspenseful opening scene from a late ’60s Hammer horror film. It’s a song about discovering the darker side of someone and the futile attempt to escape the emotional powers that can unlock everything – though, as usual, there’s a dash of dark humour.”

TUTV: Fast forward from the start. Skeleton Key speeds with electrical panache
caused by ignited guitars producing a tsunami of reckless riffs. Sounds like glam
pop punk turmoil to my eager ears. A head-twisting and hair-rising bolide.

Add tense drumming, Valentine‘s frisky vocals and the cutting chorus, and you know
this zippy tune will play on your headphones more than once and as it’s about discovering the dark side of someone – remember Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, you definitely need to add it to your Halloween playlist.
