Since their formation in 2006, London-based TEETH OF THE SEA trio have metamorphosized into the most adventurous psychedelic rock outfit in the UK.
Taking on board influences like Morricone, Eno, Delia Derbyshire, Goblin, and the Butthole Surfers , they’ve arrived at an incendiary sound that marries the aural enlightenment of
an avant-garde sensibility with the reckless abandon of the racket.

So far they fabricated 5 albums, with Wraith as their most recent, released in 2019.

And now after 4 years, they’re back to turn your mind upside down the way you like it.
LP number 9, titled HIVE will be unleashed on October 6 via Rocket Recordings.

The first appetizer is a far-out 9+ minute sonic nightmare, named MEGAFRAGMA.

It’s a schizophrenic techno crusher that doesn’t stop booming and beating. Ominous synth waves keep on steamrolling out of your speakers. Imagine Chemical Brothers and Leftfield joining their electronic arms and pump/punk up the volume on an illegal rave crowded with troubled souls, gloomy goths and manic misfits. Sounds like big fun (well, sort of) until you see the accompanying video with a freakish close-up collage of creepy insects. I swear, once you’ve seen the clip it will spook through your mind for a while. Do you know/seen 1986 SF horror movie The Fly? That’s the scary idea.

Listen.
Watch.
Quiver.
