Who: The Japanese Kawaii metal trio, that blends elements of
heavy metal and J-pop that was pioneered in Japan in the early
2010s sensation.
Baby Metal is often credited with the
creation and success of Kawaii metal.
I know they’re a corporate-controlled band using session musicians in
the studio. But (there’s always a but) they write almost all of their songs
and have a huge impact and involvement in producing the sound they
want.
Anyway, I really dig their mind-blowing ballyhoo,
their glamorous look, and their confident attitude.
Last Frida,y they launched their 5th LP,
named Metal Forth (stream it below).
The same day, they also shared a new video clip for monstrous single
MY QUEEN, which features Canadian metal act Spiritbox‘ vociferous
vocalist Courtney LaPlante. Watch it below.
