YOUNG THE GIANT are a fairly famous guitar pop band
from Irvine California, known for their sensitive pop tunes
and emotional rockers.
They just released their 6th album, titled Victory Garden. But as melancholic
as I’m sometimes, I’ll go back to the only song I really remember of them, called
COUGH SYRUP. It was actually their breakthrough hit in the US (today, more
than 415 million streams on Spotify) from their 2014 LP Mind Over Matter.
It’s one of those magnetic, ear-stirring pop gems for
the ages. Its sparkling guitar lines are splendacious.
