Kerrang says: “Truth Decay is an album that sees You Me At Six grabbing
elements from 2014’s Cavalier Youth and 2010’s Hold Me Down. Then it wraps
them up into a time capsule of what it means to be a young adult in the ever
difficult 2020s.”
Score: 8/10.

TUTV: It’s a boiling collection of titanic screamo detonations with colossal
choruses that make your hair rise and invite you to test your own lungs’
capacity. All loud and proud fireworks. Makes you feel like jumping up
and down like crazy in a moshpit sauna.

Wake-Up Call – YOU ME AT SIX Go Full Screamo On ‘MIXED EMOTIONS’

23 October 2022

British sturdy rockers YOU ME AT SIX will share their 8th LP,
named Thruth Decay with the world on 27th January 2023.

“The album generally is the band doing all the things that we as a band think we’re good
at and just embellishing them and finessing those ideas and just trying to do retrospective, quintessential YMAS but in 2022 and give that a new lease of life,” Josh Franceschi says. “For us we saw people around us, our peers and some new blood coming through that were doing emo rock music again and we thought ‘well we know how to do that and we want the world to know how we do it’.”

Let’s first go nuts to this appetiser called MIXED EMOTIONS (I Didn’t Know How to Tell You What I Was Going Through).

Ooh-ooh-ooh, I’ve got mixed, mixed emotions
Ooh-ooh-ooh, I’ve got mixed, mixed emotions
You’re a lightweight, gotta get your head straight
Hellbent on a mistake, mistake
And ooh-ooh-ooh, I’ve got mixed, mixed emotions

Time to scream-o.
