Much praised Texan dream pop band CIGARETTES AFTER SEX fronted by conductor Greg Gonzalez only needed two albums, their eponymous debut album (2017) and Cry (2019) to rise to stardom (millions of streams on Spotify and 3,7 million followers on Instagram).

Great news. They’re back. Today they shared new track MOVIE PICTURE SOUNDTRACK. No press statement, so I have no idea if it’s actually a song for a film or their first piece of a new album. I put my money on the latter.

Anyway, it’s a charming endearing pearl. Vintage CAS balladry.
