Californian power pop celebs THE KILLERS fronted by
the charismatic Brandon Flowers have recorded/released
7 albums between 2004 and 2021.

They’re experts when it comes to write euphoric, sing-along nuggets
and get massive crowds to go nuts at their sizzling live shows.

In time for Xmas they launched a best of album, REBEL DIAMONDS
yesterday. A jukebox stuffed with 20 gems. Bullseye.

It features one new one, titled SPIRIT which is, of course, a killer tune.

To celebrate its 15th birthday, the Swedish mega audio streamer Spotify shared
a list of the biggest artists and tracks since its launch in October 2008.

The winners in the UK are THE KILLERS with their debut single MR. BRIGHTSIDE (released September 29, 2003). Globally the blockbuster hit has more than 1.8 billion streams, so far. Wowzers!

‘Mr Brightside’ previously broke UK chart records in 2021 by spending 260 non-consecutive weeks in the Top 100 of the UK’s singles chart. As of October 10, that figure has risen to a whopping 382 weeks – nearly seven years!!

The Los Angeles darlings, fronted by Brandon Flowers got some help from thousands of fans. Big, very big choir.

MEGADETH Drummer DIRK VERBEUREN Plays On THE KILLERS Massive Classic ‘MR. BRIGHTSIDE’ After Hearing It Only One Time

For a Drumeo series on YouTube, Belgian drummer Dirk Verbeuren
of thrash metal band Megadeth was tasked with listening to a song,
without drums, for only one time, before recreating the track’s drums
by himself.

The Drumeo’s team picked Mr. Brightside, the 2004 classic from Californian
pop/rock heroes The Killers. Verbeuren said he had never heard before.
