British musician and composer JOHN MILES has passed away. The singer
died yesterday, Sunday 5 December, following a short illness. He was born
72 years ago, on 23 April 1949 in Newcastle. The organization of the Belgian
Night of the Proms, where he was an annual regular guest (I saw him play
there several times) broke the news.
His best know song is massive 1976 hit MUSIC.

A couple of weeks ago a JIMI HENDRIX documentary called Music, Money, Madness… Jimi Hendrix in Maui saw the day of light. It’s the incredible story of a gig by the late genial sound-breaking guitarist, in front of a few hundred spectators, on a windy cow
farm, next to a volcano, on the island of Maui in Hawaii.
