Band: MUTE CHOIR – Toronto, Canada

Who: “Producer/songwriter Sam Arion founded Mute Choir as a response to an identity crisis. He is joined by fellow musical polymaths Milan Sarkadi and Iris Waters. Loosely defining their style as “Organized Chaos”, Mute Choir is as much the sound of a cluttered downtown as it is the lonesome ambience of insomnia. The group seeks to make sense of the noise around them, searching for a middle ground between conflicting forces.

Track: SHADOWBOXING – a song about the fact “you can never know for sure if life will
turn out the way you hope when you go with your gut instinct. There is always a possibility for failure, and fear of failure can be overwhelming enough to drive you to the wrong kinds of compromises.”

Score: Despite the song’s mixed emotions this high-spirited humdinger swings from start to finish with a funky twist and gets completely exuberant when the zippy and stimulant sing-along chorus kicks in. This vocally sonorous and trippy tune sounds like an invitation to dance your sorrows away. An invitation to never look back with regret and anger. The band’s motto is “It’s better to fail doing what you love than to know you never tried.“. Think about it while ‘Shadowboxing‘ pops out of your speakers.

Tune in and feel the lively vibe…

Toronto’s MUTE CHOIR Takes You On A Spectacular Electro Trip With Swirling Single ‘ELECTION SEASON’…

Daily fuel to load your sonic batteries…

26 April 2018

Artist: MUTE CHOIR

Who: “Iran born Sam Arion escaped at the age of 18 to the city of Toronto in Canada. The music of his project Mute Choir is, above all else, about freedom. Freedom to live your life however you choose, and freedom to follow your creative vision wherever it leads. But in order to understand freedom, one must experience its opposite. He produces a distinctive blend of untamed electro-rock and introspective balladry with an eye on the ever-elusive goal of making dance music with a message.”

Track: ELECTION SEASON

Score: This booming electro roller coaster will blow you off your socks. ‘Election Season’
is an astonishing trip that will make your adrenalin’s stream go out of control. Even when he’s fighting with self-doubt and he’s going through mixed emotions Mute Choir chooses to keep his body and soul in a state of ecstasy. And so should you and me, with the healing help of this gloriously orchestrated synths spectacle. A sonic razzle-dazzle to lose yourself completely in. Shake your booty right here…
