Despite the spooky lockdown days London’s socially engaged post-punk duo DEUX FURIEUSES keeps actively busy. Early last month the pair released affecting reverie ISOLATION DAYS with all proceeds going to UK’s National Health Secure. You can still
buy the track for only 1 pound and contribute to a great cause. If all major acts around
the world would do the very same thing the global health secure organizations and its fantastic workers would get a tremendously well-deserved boost.

And today the wonderful tandem of Vas & Ros shared a pretty impressive lyric video
for WORDS OF WARNING, a stirring highlight of their second longplayer MY WAR IS
YOUR WAR. The ladies show how you can make something special and eye-catching without outrageously high budgets. This is solid proof that inventiveness, creativity
and most of all the confident will to make something truly worthwhile with little
means is actually possible.

egoism, intolerance, inequality on many levels and repression are back stronger than
ever, thanks mostly to a new breed of narcissistic and nationalistic politicians ruling our so-called civilized world. deux furieuses‘s second full length tackles all those human-destroying issues with cutting statements packed in highly emotive and vehement songs expressing all their frustration and fury with the underlying vital message that life is too valuable to mess it up by hating each other for all the wrong reasons. For me, personally, ‘My War Is Your War‘ is a beseeching and vociferous call-up for solidarity, unity, universal respect and mutual understanding. A call-up to survive together with the one and only
way possible: side by side. A call-up to save this terribly divided planet which is its way to self-destruction if the current ‘My, myself and I‘ status quo remains.

After fiery lead-single Year Of Rage  and solid slam Civilians  wholehearted, socially committed London based duo DEUX FURIEUSES  unveiled a third cut, the reflective title track of second album ‘MY WAR IS YOUR WAR’, out 18th October. More info  and pre-order facilities here on Bandcamp.

The two furious ones Ros Cairney and Vas Antoniadou  explained in a press statement that ‘My War is Your War’ is  a song where “three stories of different worlds colliding, from Gaza Beach to Ukraine to Yemen. The song was written as a way of not normalising the shocking events that stun the world and then are yesterday’s news. We can no longer just occupy our own safe space and turn a collective blind eye.”
