On 10th & 11th August 1996 – 28 years ago – a total of 250,000 people gathered
in Knebworth UK to see Manchester rock legends OASIS play two massive concerts.
The landmark shows sold out in under a day with over 2% of the UK population
attempting to buy tickets.
Three years ago to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the historic
event, a documentary and a live album were released.
