James Murphy and his musical vehicle
LCD SOUNDSYTEM is still alive and kicking.

As part of the soundtrack of the movie White Noise based on the 1985
novel by American author Don DeLillo he has a new track out called
NEW BODY RHUMBA.

It’s pure LCDSoundsytem. A familiar, hypnotic and speed-up steamer propelled
by a steady bass riff, guitars popping up now and then and Murphy singing
with his characteristic, nervous voice.

U2‘s voice and face BONO has a new memoir out,
baptized SURRENDER: 40 Songs, One Story.
He travels around now to promote it.

Underway he stopped by The Late Show With Jimmy Colbert
a couple of days ago. He sang a gripping version of that stellar
U2 hit With Or Without You, starting with spoken-word verses
from his new book.

critically acclaimed, third LP Things Take Time, Take Time
last year.

One of the tracks is a simple ditty, titled BEFORE YOU GOTTA GO
It’s so sickly sticky that I played it about a hundred times so far.

This week she played it live on the American TV Show ‘CBS Saturday Sessions’

Country slacker songsmith KURT VILE launched
his 9th album (watch my moves) last April.

NME said: “On this spacey and sprawling dream-pop adventure, the great modern
American songwriter exudes the wholesome, easy charm he’s always held. Vile has
always been the epitome of someone comfortable in their own skin, but he displays
