OZZFEST was an annual (with a break now and then) heavy
metal festival tour of the United States, sometimes Europe and
Japan, founded by Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne.
The first edition was in 1996, the last one in 2018.
This week rumours popped up on social media
that the tour will come back to the US and the UK
next year.
For now, let’s wait and see.

Ringo Starr‘s son, drummer Zak Starkey who played for about 30 years with
The Who, several years as a touring member for Oasis, who started Johnny Marr
and the Healers, and was/is involved in other projects as a producer has shared
a screenshot of an email he got in 1993 from Ozzy’s wife/manager, Sharon
Osbourne.
The email was sent ahead of the band’s shows planned
for the summer of 2013. Sharon can definitely crack
a joke.
