10 GEMS By PERE UBU

Turn Up The Volume picks 10 gems of favorite artists/bands

20 August 2022

Who doesn’t like making all sorts of (play)lists?

I do. Best of lists, end-of-the-year lists, golden oldies lists,
only family lists, guilty pleasure song lists, summer lists,
brand new song lists. Okay, stop, I think I made my point.

Today: PERE UBU.

David Thomas, the mastermind of Cleveland’s indie mavericks
Pere Ubu start shaking back in 1975 and is still going strong
(I saw him playing with his band in Belgium, 3 years ago.
You can read my review here).

Hands up for Pere Ubu…
