Legendary art-punk rockers JANE’S ADDICTION recently started a world tour with
the original line-up: frontman Perry Farrell, guitarist Dave Navarro, bassist Stephen
Perkins, and drummer Eric Avery.
It seemed tensions within the band started a few weeks ago, as reported by journalist/photograher Alice Teeple after JA’s show in NYC 2 weeks ago.
“Perry Farrell needs to dry the fuck out, stat. Tonight’s Jane’s Addiction show in NYC was disgraceful. The drunken 5 minute rant was rough. It’s clear he isn’t a well man. The rest of the band sounded great. It was genuinely cool to see Dave Navarro play. But let me put it this way – every pit photographer at this show had the same look of abject horror or “yiiikes.” Out of the hundreds of concerts I’ve shot, this was easily the worst.”
And last night it got all wrong when Farrell attacked
Navarro a couple of songs before the end of the show
in Boston.
So far no statement whatsoever from the band or their members following the incident.
Who did react afterward was Farrell‘s wife Etty Lau Farrell on her socials.
