Band: PLASMAS
Who: Up and coming indie 4-piece
from Dundee, Scotland.

Single: WHAT YOU DO TO ME
A cut from their upcoming debut EP ‘A Summer’s Day Can Break Your Heart’, out 21 October.

Ross McQueen (singer/songwriter) “This is pretty hard for me to talk about, but I wrote this song about having feelings for another guy, and not knowing how to deal with it. It’s about the guilt that came with it and being unsure where I fit in amongst society. I had always considered myself straight and didn’t really feel like I could exist in any LGBTQ+ spaces. I felt like an imposter. I just remember being so confused, there was this social commentary screaming “be yourself” and “be open about your sexuality” all over the place and I just thought, “what if I can never be like that?”. ”

The track is a fuzzy, feel-good indie anthem – think The Jesus and Mary Chain in
a happy mood – that nods to shoegaze greats past while shooting for the moon
on a synth-powered rocket.

Psychcandy for daydreamers…
