29 July 2025

On this day in 1967 THE INTERNATIONAL LOVE-IN FESTIVAL took place at
Alexandra Palace in London with Pink Floyd, Brian Auger Trinity with Julie Driscoll,

Californian funk-metal vets PRIMUS made/make a plethora of racket since 1984.
Over the years they came up with 9 albums, of which The Desaturing Seven (2017)
is the newest one.

They toured way more than they made records, and they
still set stages on fire, mostly in their home country.

This year’s tour started in April.

They will take a short break and return this Summer.

Primus fans know they take pride in letting designer artists create tour/concert posters.
For this tour they also came/come up with awesome posters for most of the shows, which are put up for sale at the concert. Here are three.

Poster This – BETH GIBBONS Then And Now

English singer-songwriter Beth Gibbons came in the picture as the voice/face
of trip-hop outfit Portishead when the band released their debut LP Dummy
in 1994. Two longplayers followed, the self-titled (1997) and the last, so far,
simply titled Third. Then silence, still now.

But last year Beth Gibbons came back, solo, with
her critically acclaimed debut Lives Outgrown.
She’s touring the album right now.
