PRINCE – Two Previously Unreleased Tracks Popped Up Online

Last weekend, the 7th annual celebration of the late musical virtuoso
PRINCE (1958-2016) had place at his famous studio complex Paisley Park.

Fans received a USB drive shaped like a cassette loaded with two previously
unreleased tracks from the Prince Vault. One named All A Share Together Now,
recorded in 2006, and 7 (E Flat Version) an alternate take of the LP Love Symbol‘s
track called 7 that was recorded 1992.

Both tracks will be officially available on July 7,
but they already popped up on the internet.

Today 7 Years Ago Purple Genius PRINCE Passed Away – His 36 Years Old Hit Unfortunaly ‘SIGN “☮” THE TIMES’ Highly Relevant Again Today

Musical genius PRINCE passed away today 7 years ago, on 21 April 2016,
following an accidental overdose of Fentanyl, a strong painkiller, 50 to 100
times stronger the morphine. He was only 57.

In 1987 the purple royalty released his double
masterpiece album SIGN “O” THE TIMES.

The late, sadly missed icon translated the troubled times the world
experienced back then perfectly in the title track. Unfortunately nothing
has really changed after 36 years. Today it’s back to egoism, intolerance,
racism, sexism, hate and political extremism as we all know.

The fact that this funky master blaster sounds like
it’s 1987 all over again is both scary and alarming.

The late soul/funk/dance/pop/rock genius PRINCE (June 7, 1958 – April 21, 2016)
released his 5th LP named 1999, 40 years ago, on 27 October 1982.

It was an artistic, commercial
and critically praised triumph.

wait quite a while to score his first-ever No 1 hit in the UK.

It happened with his 37th single THE MOST BEAUTIFUL GIRL IN THE WORLD
this day in 1994, on 16 April, 28 years ago. The song featured on his album
‘The Gold Experience.

PRINCE And THE REVOLUTION Live Again

The 1985 live concert film titled Prince and the Revolution Live is set
to be remastered for a new reissue on 3 June, visually and on record with
3xLP, 2xCD (2xCD), Blu-ray and streaming services. The concert took
place in Syracuse, on March 30, 1985.

A limited-run collector’s edition, which includes three coloured LPs, two CDs,
Blu-ray video, an expansive 44-page book (complete with never-before-seen
photos of the Purple Rain Tour), new liner notes, stories, and memories from
all five members of The Revolution, and a limited run 24 x 36 poster, will also
be available from the official PRINCE STORE. More info here.

Pitchfork said: “By 1991, Prince’s unsurpassed run of brilliance had ended, but he still
had a lot of great music in him. Diamonds and Pearls had a clutch of future classics along
with some odd experiments… As with all the greatest pop stars, Prince was a master at simplifying life’s most complicated emotions into catchphrases. He encompassed lust, jealousy, fear, spirituality, avarice, the impulse to run away, and the need to strip everything to its core—sometimes literally, sometimes figuratively. The man who believed in everlasting love died alone and childless, adored by almost the entire world. A song like “Diamonds and Pearls” illustrates why.
