THE JESUS LIZARD Bite Again With ‘ALEXIS FEEL SICK’ From Their New Forthcoming Album

Daily electricity to load your batteries

12 July 2024

Last month influential Texas native, Chicago-based noise rock legends
THE JESUS LIZARD (1987–1999, 2008–2010, 2017–present and still with
their classic line-up) announced their first LP in 26 years.

It’s their 7th overall, titled RACK.
It’ll be launched on Sept 13.

Pre-order info here.

Impressive album artwork

Following boiling lead single Hide & Seek comes another preview
track with ALEXIS FEELS SICK. It’s a tribute to Girls Against Boys/Soulside
drummer Alexis Fleisig.

Yow: “It’s a disgusting and comically impressionistic portrait
of American Late Stage Capitalism… with some doggies.”

It’s a mid-tempo Sturm und Drang burst. Freaked-out guitars and
the sinewy bass/drum brothers in crime have a heft fight while schizo
loudmouth David Yow tries to scream his way out of his straightjacket.

Gasp!
