the band was able to do things with Requiem that the past two decades haven’t
always afforded them, such as taking additional time to experiment together or
diligently recording to analog tape – processes which unearthed newfound sonic
dimension and texture in their music.”

NME writes: “Requiem’ has brought something new to a discography that, until now,
has been an exploration of human suffering. It’s led to the band’s most nuanced record

Who: “The Toronto-based art-pop project of Rachael Cardiello. With layered synth and
driving beats she brings an explosive range to her writing, equal parts intimate and fierce.”

Track: ‘REQUIEM’- new single from her debut album ‘Sensations in Two Dot‘,
out 22 November

Score: Up and coming singer/songwriter Zinnia combines Kate Bush‘s experimental way of writing adventurous pop songs and St. Vincent‘s colorful vocality. ‘Requiem‘ is an impressive illustration of her huge talent. Translating her feelings about a long-lost relationship into a aroused and nostalgic reflection is both touching and imposing.
