Swedish theatrical pop-metal band GHOST fronted by the singer-songwriter,
actor, and filmmaker Tobies Jens Forge aka Papa Emeritus IV have a new track,
named THE FUTURE IS A FOREIGN LAND out.
It features on the soundtrack of their debut feature film Rite Here, Rite Now.
It presents Ghost’s live show at LA’s Kia Forum last year, and its soundtrack — set
for release next month — comprises 17 songs from that set plus the new one.
Tobias Jens Forge and his partners in crime look like scary protagonists in
a horror-ific nightmare but when it comes to their music you get the opposite,
like here with The Future Is A Foreign Land. An amplified, melodic, easy-listening
pop tune with some echoes of rockabilly. Sweet guys, sweet song.
