CHUCK BERRY was born named Charles Edward Anderson Berry
on 18 October 1926 in St. Charles, Missouri.

Happy 97 to one of the pure pioneers of rock ‘n’ roll music. No wonder
his nickname was the ‘Father of Rock and Roll‘. The charismatic songsmith
recorded 20 studio albums, with Chuck as the final one, released in 2017.

He passed away, at 90, on 18 March 2017.

He scored one of his greatest hits in 1956 with
the timeless masterstroke Roll Over Beethoven

recorded one of his best-known riff rippers with ROLL OVER BEETHOVEN.

The eternal legend goes that Berry wrote the song in response to
his sister Lucy always using the family piano to play classical music.
