Waking Up With… HAPPY TALK

Works fast than caffeine

On Sundays I like – I don’t know why – to wake up
with a simple and silly ditty.

And this one will do perfectly.

Captain Sensible, the co-founder of punk heroes The Damned, topped the UK singles chart 40 years ago this day with his simple and silly take of a simple and silly tune called Happy Talk written in 1949 by legendary songsmiths Rodgers & Hammerstein and used as the theme song of a musical named South Pacific in 1958.
