Daily noise that works faster than a stream of caffeine

Band: BABYMETAL Who: The Japanese Kawaii metal trio, that blends elements of
heavy metal and J-pop that was pioneered in Japan in the early
2010s sensation.
Baby Metal is often credited with the
creation and success of Kawaii metal.
I know they’re a corporate-controlled band using session musicians in
the studio. But (there’s always a but) they write almost all of their songs
and have a huge impact and involvement in producing the sound they
want.
Anyway, I really dig their mind-blowing ballyhoo,
their glamorous look, and their confident attitude.
Last Frida,y they launched their 5th LP,
named Metal Forth (stream it below).
The same day, they also shared a new video clip for monstrous single MY QUEEN, which features Canadian metal act Spiritbox‘ vociferous
vocalist Courtney LaPlante. Watch it below.
A 10-year-old British metal fan named HARPER baffled the jury and the audience
on the totally glamorous TV show, America’s Got Talent some weeks ago when
she performed her fav track of Canadian heavy metalheads Spiritbox.
If you haven’t seen this yet, you’ll be baffled too…
Afterward, things got into a sort of tsunami with Harper signing
a record deal with Pale Chord records, also the home of Spiritbox,
and releasing her debut single FALLING.
Harper: “Falling was written shortly after my cover of Holy Roller. This was the first creative process and songwriting process I’ve been a part of so it was super fun to create something I can call my own. Spiritbox became my favourite band as soon as I heard them and they’ve shown nothing but love and support for me since day one, they really are some of the kindest humans I’ve ever met! Getting to perform with them in London was a dream come true and a memory I will cherish and be forever grateful for.”
A 10-year-old girl screaming her lungs out like some of the best titanic death metal
voices in the grown-up world is actually pretty surreal, even after a couple of spins of
this bulldozing monster-truck slam, I still try to figure out if this is real.
It’s actually a g-i-g-a-n-t-ic vocal tour de force putting lots of middle-aged, screaming headbangers in the shadow. Whatever happens later, HARPER RULES now!
Roll the tape and start growling
(after you have alerted your neighbors)…
