FACES – Rod The Mod Stewart, Ronnie Wood And Kenny Jones – Reunite For GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL In June

28 May 2025

Rock ‘n’ roll outlaws FACES were a supergroup featuring Rod Stewart and
guitarist Ronnie Wood who both played in the Jeff Beck Group. Keyboardist
Ian McLagan, bassist Ronnie Lane and drummer Kenney Jones all three
had been with the Small Faces (fronted by Steve Marriott).

They released 4 LPs between 1969 and 1975.
Afterward they reunited several times for
special occasions.

And today Rod The Mod Stewart announced another one-off comeback.
He, Wood and Jones (Ronnie Lane passed away in 1997, only 51 and Ian
McLagan
passed away in 2014, aged 69) play Glastonbury Festival (UK)
on its closing day (Sunday, June 29th)

STAY WITH ME
Their biggest hit

Wait, there’s more. Wood and Jones confirmed the
rumors that a new Faces album is in the making.

Jones: “It’s a mixture of stuff we never released which is worthy
of releasing and there’s some new stuff which is really wonderful.
Rod is writing the lyrics and he’s really keen on it.”

Happy 80 To Flamboyant Playboy Rocker And Iconic Hoarse Voice ROD STEWART

10 January 2025

Sir Roderick David Stewart, worldwide better known as Rod Stewart was
born in Highgate, Londen on 10 January 1945. Happy 80 to a legendary rocker
who became a much-loved crooner later in his career (and still today), to an
eclectic singer/songwriter, to a tireless playboy, to a football freak and most
of all to a brilliant vocalist with a unique, hoarse voice.

He caught attention for the first time as frontman of the Jeff Beck Group
and then with then Faces. But he became a global superstar as a solo artist
with several excellent albums and a series of massive hit singles.

No retirement yet for Rod The Mod.

Rod: “I want to go out at the top, but the secret is knowing when you’re
at the top, it’s so difficult in this business, your career fluctuates all the
time, up and down, like a pair of trousers”.

Stay with us, Rod.
